Our client, a leading provider of engineering, power, and technology solutions based in Mlolongo, Nairobi, is seeking to fill the role of a Human Resources Officer  

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Country Manager, the ideal candidate should be highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven, leading the HR function and supporting the achievement of the Company's strategic objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage all Human Resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with Kenyan labour laws and organizational requirements.
  • Drive employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration and maintain accurate HR records and systems.
  • Support the implementation and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and participate in ISO audits and compliance activities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and an active, registered member in good standing with the IHRM 
  • At least two (2) years' progressive HR experience.
  • Practical experience in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and ISO standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, HR best practices, and HR Information
  • Systems (HRIS).
  • ICT knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in administration functions will be an added advantage
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
